Exclamation Too much bonding time?

Is there such a thing as too much bonding time? I have a very sweet little girl who is 4 months old now and she seems to just love to be with me. She rides around snuggled in my sweater and comes everywhere with me. Her only real "alone time" is at night when she goes into her cage and wakes up.

I hadn't thought much about it- she eats/drinks/wheels normally, has temperature controls etc. But when I visited my parents for Christmas my mom questioned this- citing that hedgehogs are not naturally very social.

So my questions- Should this be something I am concerned about? Does anyone else have a ride along Hedgie? Should there be a maximum bonding time?

The only limit should be in terms of keeping a hedgehog awake with constant handling/stimulation during their usual sleeping hours. Waking them up now and then is fine, it just shouldn't be ongoing. You can have them out all day if you want, as long as during the daytime they have the option to sleep. Sounds like that's exactly what your girl is getting, so, nothing to worry about.
