Unhappy When can I give a bath?

I am curious to know when i can give my new baby hedgehog a bath and how often they need baths? I just got her on the 21st of this month.

You can bathe whenever needed.

I brought my Mal home on the 21st Thus far she has had 2 foot baths (which she has done very very well in!), and I plan to give her a proper bath tonight (mainly because she's been itching up a storm due to quilling).

I waited a week to bathe Buffy just because she was already getting used to a new house with four other animals and I didn't want to overwhelm her. That's not a hard and fast rule or anything though, I just thought it would polite of me. You can bathe as often as needed, really, and that tends to depend on the hedgie.
Just remember that it can dry out their skin, so you'll probably want to take some extra measure to moisturize after baths- I usually squirt the contents of a flax oil tablet into my rinse water and that works pretty well, although some hogs are fine if you just make it a point to use a moisturizing soap.
