Default Need to move this weekend and got hoglets.😌

So I need to move out and tomorrow is the tenth day of the hoglets being born, mom is really attentive and loves her babies and is comfortable with me. Would it be fine to have them in a car on the tenth day? It’s urgent!!!

It's not a good idea but if you have no choice all you can do is try to minimize her stress. If at all possible leave her and the babies in their cage, don't add or take anything out of it. Wait as long as you can to move the cage and go straight to the new place and set up her cage right away. Try to put it in a quite location. Don't clean the cage now or until the babies are weaned. You need to try to keep things as close to the same for her to help her stay calm.

Ya I was gonna keep them in the cage they’ve been in since I’ve gotten her and where she’s raised the hoglets up to this point. She’s a really low stress hedgehog, she’s never harmed her babies or anything. It’s gonna be highway driving so it’ll be nice and smooth for the most part...I’m worried but my only other option would be to surrender them to someone which I really don’t wanna do. 😩

Surrendering her would require a move as well I'm guessing and that would be even more stressful for her.

I was able to push it back too this weekend. Hopefully that’s a bit better.
