Default My hedgehog fell

My hedgehog has fell... It is about 30cm and she was in her sleeping sack and probably tried making herself comfortable but in the process.. Fell off. Will she be ok?

That was not real high but was a very hard surface to land on. They do tend to ball up when they fall which cushons them some. I would watch her very close for any unnormal activity and watch her urine and poop for changes in color that could indicate internal bleeding. A vet visit with xray would not be a bad idea. Dont't feel bad about it.Ours has snuck around on the couch and fell off a few times but luckily has always fell on a pile of blankets or a pillow plus we have carpet to.

Wich color will it be? And for how long should I check on her poop and urine?

Internal injuries normally cause bleeding which will cause darker than usual urine and poo and sometimes watery or mucasy poo. I would think after 2-3 day you would be out of the woods so to speak. It is realy always a good idea to kind of watch their urine and poo anyway with these guys because it is the first indication that they have something going on with them.
