Default Help. Dog attacked hedgehog

This morning, while i was sleeping, my dog (boston terrier) tipped over my hedgehogs cage, and took her out of there somehow, i woke up to find my dog standing near her, and her sitting there in a tight tight ball and with A LOT A LOT of quills missing!!! there were piles of quills on my floor. I don’t see any bite wounds, and i see a little bit of blood but my dog had blood on his front paws and on my floor. i’m not really sure what to do and how to get her uncurled. I am so upset and scared. I’m pretty sure she’s gonna die. She’s breathing though but i’m really scared

Reassure her and give her cuddles I'd take her to a vet asap to make sure she dfeintly is alright.

Have you checked the dogs paws, may be worth checking the cuts on these and dealing with those too.

I'd also suggest for future move the hedgehogs cage so the dog can not get to it so this never happens again

You need to get her to a vet asap to make sure there are no internal injuries. Even if she looks fine she still needs to be checked out by a vet.

Okay i moved her cage. My dad said I shouldn’t really mess with her for the next few days. I think this is a good idea.
plus can someone give me tips on how to deal with a lot of bald patches on hedgehogs? like i said, she lost A LOT of quills, especially on her lower back and butt. I want to properly treat that so it doesn’t hurt too much.

As said take her to a vet asap, get them to check her over making sure there are no internal damages and they will advise you on the quills as well.
Please takes her a bet dont just leaver her in her cage for a few days and hope shes okay. Just because you can not see anything on the outside does not mean she isnt hurt on the inside.

If this was me I'd have been straight on a phone saying its an emergancy and had her seen by on the day.

She probably had internal injuries or went into shock which is why she needed to see a vet asap.
