Default Please help!!!

In my hedgehog cage there's these little flakes in the cage. Does he have dry skin? If he does should I put coconut oil in a spray bottle and then spray it on his back? Also can it be any kind of coconut oil?

Most people use fleexseed oil capsules - Your second picture, they pierce them open and squeeze it out
Some will use a 1 capsule twice a week (half one time and half the second)
Others use 2 capsules a week (one for the first day one for the second day) it depends on how bad the dry skin is.

I use pure flaxseed oil in a bottle as I have it for cooking so I just take it upsatirs twice a week to put on her food and I give her the amount shown in the second picture which is about the same as half a capsule,

The spoon is a tea spoon, right?
I've been looking into this since my boy scratches himself alot, but I haven't found any flakes yet. So I wanna rule out the dry skin with the Flaxseed oil before it worsens and starts flaking.

Ah ok, can I still get him the Flaxseed to prevent dry skin even if he may not have it yet? Or is only for when he has it?

Quilling's such a drastic thing for the poor things, goodness.
