Default Bedding and food question!

I'm picking up my hedgehog this afternoon. I have done a ton of reading over the past few weeks and I'm still a bit unsure what to get. I bought a nice big midwest homes cage and I was gonna buy Kaytee clean and Cozy, Kaytee granule bedding or Care Fresh. And for cat food I was thinking of getting Nutro. Are these good choices? Thanks for any info you can offer.

You should stick to the food that they are on for a while, if your unhappy with it or want to change it after they are settlef then look into food.

As fod bedding I only know what care fresh is so I'm not good help on that but carefresh is good and anything similar to it is good too.
I use animal safe dust free shredded cardboard.

Thanks for the reply, I got my hedgehog last night but I haven't named her yet. I bought a bag of the cat food she's been eating so that will last a while. I'm still not sure what bedding to use but for now I have wood chips and they make a mess. I also put fleece in too.

You can use fleece liners
Care fresh or something similar
Animal safe dust free shredded cardboard
Or if you want to do a natural set up Ik some people who do they use topsoil - I think thats more UK though.

Woodshaveings arent really recomnded mostly because it can hurt them specially with poking eyes - This is what I got told
Also I believe some contain oils that hedgehogs shouldnt be exposed to - Dont hold me in that I cant fully remember that one !!
