Default Hedgehog getting mites?

I just got 2 guinea pigs and they both I'm thinking have fur mites im taking them to the vet Wednesday. In the meantime I'm worried my hedgehogs could get the mites. How can I prevent them from spreading to my hedgehogs? What signs should I look for just in case?

I'm not sure if they can or cant get them - Idk much about mites going between animals

But the signs would be loosing a lot of quills, bald spots, the amount of scratching they do, sometimes the bulb on the quill will be chewed off by mites
