Default Adopting a 2 year old Hog girl :)

Hi all, I'm writing from UK so I'm not sure if you'll be able to help with product/food recommendations.

I'm going to adopt a lovely 2 year old girl from a friend of mine. At the moment she is living in an indoor rabbit hutch - the triangular kind. I know that she is fed on cat food and meal worms.

I have done extensive research on the food/treats that they need as well as what they can't/shouldn't have.

I'm just looking for some general advice and tips really. A lot of advice that I have seen is regarding bringing home a baby hog and I was wondering if there's anything different I should do for an adult girl.

Another random question that's just popped into my head....do hedgehogs get "in heat"

Thanks for reading

What product/food recomendations are you looking for ?? Being in the Uk if you let me I'll come up with a list for you

Brining and baby and an adult hog home theres nothing different (that Ik of) to do its all the same.

Hedgehogs dont really come into heat, well thats what I was told, so no blood.

Hedgehogs are induced ovulators and come into heat when they are near a male. This is why males and females should never be in contact with each other.
