Default HARD BUMP on chin, very worried please help 😞

Hi,
Winky has a bump under her chin, more or less in the middle of her under-chin. it’s not very big and it’s semi-hard. It’s covered in hair and looks like it’s part of her skin. I’ve looked online and seen many things about under-chin bumps being a normal Hedgie trademark that all hedgies have, but I’ve also read that hedgies are prone to oral tumors and teeth issues, sometimes in this same area. I’m not sure which one this is, but I always get very worried over small things regarding her, so I’m hoping it’s okay? I’ve attatched a picture, any opinions would be extremely appreciated
Thanks so much

I can't tell for sure in the photo, but if you are truly worried about it, I would see a vet. Better safe than sorry, especially if you suspect it is a tumor.

The bump that hedgehogs normally have under their chin looks like a mole. The bump on your hedgehog doesn't look like that and I would get it checked out by a vet.

Here is another picture if it helps, I can’t tell if it looks like a mole type bump or not. It’s in the middle of her chin though

You definitely need to get that checked out by a vet. That doesn't look like the regular bump that hedgehogs have.
