Question Is it possible for my hedgehog to forget my scent?

So, today I got very curious. I was so busy lately that I just couldn't find anytime to play or hold my hedgehog in my lap. In fact, I was barely home except for sleeping at night for nearly half a week. Yes, I have been cleaning out his cage and feeding him(takes less than 5 minutes), and I know this shouldn't be the biggest deal, but my hedgehog seems grumpier than before. Anyone experienced the same thing? I'm not entirely worried, just curious. Thanks

Oh and just a disclaimer, this does not happen regularly and her behavior was just a tad bit off, huffing a little more excessively and takes a few more minutes to calm down than usual for two days straight. My question was: Is it possible for my hedgehog to forget my scent overtime or nah? Thanks

I don?t really think it?s something to be worried about especially if you?re still handling her for feedings and cage cleanings. I do notice personally if I get really busy like you described and handle my hedgehog just the bare minimum the next couple days she will be ?grumpy? or almost like she?s mad at me lol. But she?ll usually come back around after a few days of me handling her a lot. I think they just get a little moody once they?re used to being left alone.

:P ohhh, looks like I've got quite a moody hedgehog then, haha. Oh well, guess I'll just have to bribe her back XD
