Welcome to HHC! Lorelei is very cute.

First off, the cage is a great size! However, you have cedar shavings in the right side there, which are VERY dangerous. They give off oil "fumes" that agitate the lungs and cause respiratory infection, as well as have various other bad side effects internally. If you can find aspen or kiln-dried pine shavings, those are better to use. Or better yet, just use fabric for the whole bottom of the cage, and ditch the shavings altogether.

Next up I was going to recommend a wheel, so that's great you've already ordered one!

As for the food, I'm not sure what brands you have available to you, but Whiskas is a pretty low quality food. If you could share what stores you have to buy cat food from, we can help you find a better food!

Like already mentioned, you want to get rid of the cedar asap. Aspen or Kiln-Dried Pine are okay but do have risks. The completely safe alternative is fabric liners. Most people use fleece, because it doesn't have to be sewn.

PetSmart will be the best place for you to get food. Some good brands that I can think of are:
Blue Buffalo
Innova
Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul
Solid Gold
Natural Balance

You can also use Purina One Beyond Chicken & Whole Oat Meal, which you can get at Walmart sometimes. There is a salmon one, but fish makes the poop smell.

Most people use a mixture of 2 or more dry cat foods. This provided more variety. Also if you run out of cat food and the store is sold out, you will still have another one that you can use. Hedgehogs have sensitive stomachs, so if you have more than one, they will still have a food they are use to and won't get sick

When buying a food, make sure you read the label and the ingredients.
Protein: 34% and under generally
Fat: 12% or so (But every hedgehog is different)
First Ingredient: Meat (No by-products)
Second Ingredient: Meat
In the food you don't want corn, by-products or artificial coloring.

You'll find the highest quality foods at Petsmart.

Here are a couple I'd recommend:
http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... lmdn=Brand (would recommend most)
