Default Obsessed with picking at my Hedgehog?

Ever since i got him I've worried things could be wrong with him so I always checked him e.g. Looking at his skin through his quills putting him on his back and checking his tummy or underneath his arms for yellow ness. It's become an obsession and I'm now always just picking away at him! Anyone else have this problem?

Thats pretty normal for a hew hedgie owner We've all been there, dont worry. Try not to freak yourself out over your hedgies health unless you see something abnormal about his behavior. Check on him once or twice every day aside from your normal routine if you feel nervous over something. LIke all of us, the slightest thing amiss tends to send us into a tizzy of concern over what usually ends up being nothing serious You'll settle down as you get into your routines

Just relax. I know it's probably difficult as well coming on this forum and seeing all the people who are having issues with their hedgehogs, but I think the majority of us probably have hedgehogs that are just fine. Checking occasionally is good, but constant checking is too much of a stressor for yourself and you'll end up getting paranoid about it. Try not to worry so much!
