Default Is my hedgehog pregnant?

I got a female hedgehog a few days ago. Shes around 3 months and the person at the pet store said she might be pregnant. She was in the same cage as a male and as far as i know they were together for 2 weeks. I also know that the male was older than her so is there a good chance that she could be?

Very likely she is so you should start reading the relevant stickies and ask questions if there's something you don't understand or are unsure of.

shes half the size of my other hedgehog. If she is pregnant do you think it will be very bad for her?

She is most likely pregnant. You need to read over the threads in the breeding and babies sections here. It could be bad for her but there isn't anything you can do about it other than be prepared and make sure you have a vet lined up.

I've been reading about breeding and all that but if I bring her to the vet do you think they could tell if she is pregnant?

The only way would be if she's close to term and they did an ultrasound. The babies bones are to small to show up on an x-ray and you can tell just by looking at a hedgehog if it's pregnant or not. All you can do is count 55 days from when you got her and if she doesn't have babies by then she wasn't pregnant.
