Default Scented detergent! Uhoh!

So I'm a dumb. I washed Mozart's liner in scented detergent. During the day he didn't mind, but now that I've played with him at night, he won't seem to step foot onto the liner. He's hiding under his wheel, running in his wheel... sitting in his wheel, but not actually going onto the liner.

I know he's not had a reaction from it, since he WAS on it earlier. Could he just be being finicky, or is there something I can do to air it out a bit?

I would probably just be safe and re-wash them in something unscented. It could be that he is awake now and realizes that, "hey! I don't like this!" and is being finicky, haha. Better to be safe then sorry, though!

He would probably eventually get used to it, like you would if you were in a small room full of strong potpourri, but I would go ahead and air it out or rewash it, just to save him the discomfort. I use Tide coldwater clear. It seems to get things clean but has no fragrance. It actually still smells like hedgehog to me when I take the laundry out, but everyone else says they can't smell it. lol.

I accidentally washed Amelia's stuff in this cheepy Extra detergent that wasn't FF, and it seemed like she didn't mind it since it wasn't strong scented at all.
But yeah, rewash and retry.

I use scented fairly often now, but it's not highly scented simply because we don't like highly scented either. I also use a cup of vinegar in the rinse water and that cuts any soap residue and gets rid of the scent.
