If the noise from the Carolina wheel is bothering you, the noise from the Silent Spinner will too. They are not exactly quiet wheels. Plus they are dangerous. Take a look at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=14937

Some hedgehogs make more noise when they run than others. I have a tiny 300 range girl who can make a 90+ lb ferret nation vibrate. She has times where she runs so hard and fast, that her feet sound like the are pounding on her wheel. To take the wheel away or to discourage her from using it is not healthy for her. Plus they need that exercise to not only keep in shape, but its good for them mentally.

My hedgehogs all reside in my bedroom with me. On nights where they are all running super hard and fast, and I cannot sleep, I turn on classical music to help cover the pitter patter of their feet. If you can sleep with soothing music, try a little Bach. Or get yourself a white noise machine, turn on a fan, etc.
