Okay, in my previous question i told you about my new hedge hog, who is with me now. she is huffing and puffing, and i know that if i let her "scare" me away she will keep up this behavior. but i also know that stressed of hedge hogs can lose quills and become sick; am i doing that to my hedge hog???

Yes, you could be stressing him out. Some hedgehogs will always be grump butts, no matter how much time you spend with them.

Take it slow, and reward him after each attempt, with mealies or other treat.
