Crying at Vets?

When the Vet was looking at Quill on Wednesday she had to look in her mouth. when the vet assistant picked her up she started making this wierd loud Whiny high pitch cry. It sounded so sad, and it was almost like a crying kitten or baby. The Vet said she hasnt had a hedgehog make that noise before. Ive never heard her make it before. Anyone elses Hedgie cry?

If it was the first time at the vets, than he was probably scared. Vet offices have many smells of differnt animals, and as we know hedgehogs rely on scent.

My Pagen used to cry every time I held him on his back. Even tilting him slightly backward and he'ed start. He wasn't being hurt in any way, he just didn't like it and knew if he cried, I'd straighten him up.
