Default going on a trip

I was just accepted to go on a week long service trip with my college for 7 days next month. I'm very excited but also a little nervous because I'll be in a rural part of the Appalchia mtns. in Tennessee and may not have access to internet or phone service. I have two hedgehogs and they cannot go with me. My mom told me she'd watch them both but I need to write a whole book I guess of what to do. I think I'm going to get some carefresh to make things a little bit easier on my mom, she already knows how to feed them but she's not a huge fan of spending time with them which worries me some. Does anyone have some good advice so I can prepare her to take care of them for this time that I'm gone?

There is another member on the forums that has to go away on a school trip(at least I think thats what it was) and she is making a how to/care book for her sister. This thread has some great suggestions that I think you will find useful!

Congratulations on your trip! I recently got accepted to spend one month in India in May-June so I wrote a little "care book" for my sister to take care of my hedgie. Feel free to modify it to fit your situation, the link is below. Have fun!
