So i've had my hedgie for 3 weeks and on the first week she gave birth.. so i couldn't clean her cage and i cant bathe her.. so when i hold her an her spines penetrate my skin just a little i get this tiny blisters on my hand with a tiny red spot in their middle.. so has this happened to you? Is it because she is dirty at the moment? Or does it have something to do with me?

Yes this is normal for some people and could have to do with her being dirty. It could also be the beginning of an allergy. If the babies are only 2 weeks old you shouldn't be picking up mom yet. By doing so is putting the babies in danger.
