Default sleeping in the open

For a little while now I've noticed that both Sasha and Quinn will take a nap at night in the open in the middle of their cages. They both have a similar routine, wake up at 9, eat, walk around their cage, wheel and then take a nap. They use to sleep in their huts when napping but now I find them in the open. I thought it was strange because they are prey and that could lead to death in the wild lol. Is this normal behaviour or are they both weird?

Default Re: sleeping in the open

Sometimes my little boy will pull out his potty pan and go sleep in the corner behind it.
