Anyone ever get a video of the party that goes down in the hedgehog cage every night? I feel like I need to video this every morning when I see the destruction to his cage. He tosses everything into a ball and sleeps under it!!

It's amazing how much redecorating they do. My boyfriend and I joke that when we clean his cage, it is like the "hedgehog catalogue"... you know, those pictures with perfect houses and living rooms trying to sell you furniture without a speck of dust.

In the morning it is like a tornado came through

I'm curious if anyone can recommend a decent cheap night vision camcorder for spying on my hedgie? Would love to do it

Dumbles has a Dlink night vison webcam attached to his cage. It's great because it doesn't give off any bright light. Just a few very small red led's around the lens. Very unnoticeable. It has an App that goes with it and I can view his cage at any time from anywhere It also takes snapshots when motion is detected and records his nightly adventures. He is a high tech hedgie! It was not exactly cheap about 100$ Canadian but the piece of mind and adorable video it has brought me made it worth every penny.

Oh my gosh I watched my girl with night vision for a while after I upgraded her cage to a 5' x 5'. She was hilariously cute by herself. She'd lick her feet and strech and belly scoot across the floor and lay on her belly and flail her legs as if making fleece angels. I also saw that she liked to snuggle up to a certain stuffed animal and just lay there with it and watch her surroundings. If you have an active hedgie it will never get old!
