Default Going home for the weekend?

So I'll be going home for thanksgiving weekend (I'm Canadian so we celebrate it next week) and I was wondering if it's ok to leave my hedgie by itself? I'll be gone Friday evening and be back Monday. Or is it imperative that I find someone to watch her?

Someone will need to at minimum check on your hedgehog once to twice a day to turn on/off lights, check on the temperature and provide fresh food and water. Cleaning the wheel if dirty should happen as well.

The other option is him coming with you for the weekend which could be more stressful depending on the hedgehog and travel.

Its important to have a hedgiesitter

I agree, I'd really suggest having someone check on him at least once on Saturday. I know being gone only one full day doesn't seem like much, but especially right now with the weather getting cooler, plenty can happen that could mean bad things for your hedgie. If your heating set-up stops working on say, Saturday morning, you could come home to a very ill hedgehog due to hibernation attempt. They can also make sure he hasn't done something like tipped his water bowl over or pooped in it or his food, and just make sure he's okay and happy.

I do the same thing. Home on Thursday night and back Monday. I just have a friend come over once a day and fill food/water, check temps, spot clean the cage and clean the wheel. She doesn't feel comfortable taking Holden out but I would rather her not. She lifts his igloo to check he is okay. I would try and have someone come once a day if possible.
