Unhappy help me need advice hedgie broke a toenail or something by mistake

So I just adopted a female hedgehog from a girl last night. Today I decided to give my hedgie a bath and cut her toenails, I was having difficulty cutting them, but I had her wrapped in a towel kind of and I cut her first foot fine. I was going to go to do another foot when I noticed her front paw bleeding. I didn't even get a chance to cut it yet but my thoughts are that she might have hooked it on the towel or something because they were kind of long. Anyways so I'm freaking out, I put corn starch on it right away and it was only spitting throughout her cage, not pouring out blood. Do you think she's okay? From what I can tell it looks like it's dried up and abit darker on her foot now but I want to leave her be so I don't agitate her anymore then she already is with being in a new home.

As long as the bleeding stops, your fine. If she is still actually spotting you may want to apply a bit more corn starch, or just give it a bit of pressure. Corn starch would probably work better since she is adjusting.
Also you want to see if you can tell if it's from her nail, a toe or her foot.

it looks like she doesn't have a nail anymore basically. I took her out and put more corn starch on it but it's still spotty, it's just in a place where if she moves or bumps it it'll open up a little, I'm going to give her a foot bath tomorrow after work and if it's still bleeding put my corn starch and call the vet to see what I should do. I just know it's not like pouring out blood. I figured maybe if I just let her sleep and stay in one spot for a few hours it might help it heal a little more.

Thumbs up hedgehogs toe isn't bleeding anymore!!

So today I take her out. Pretty grumpily and check on her toe that was bleeding last night. There's just a little bit of dried up blood on it now and no more bleeding!! So today after work I'm going to give her a foot bath and put a little polysporin on it. Phew I was so worried omg haha

Happy to know that she is ok now! Just make sure to put the original polysporin, not the one with pain reliever in it.
