Exclamation Bathing my hedgie

I know that I am asking a lot of questions. I just want to make sure that my hedgie has everything she will need and is taken care of properly. Whenever she needs or gets a bath, I am wanting to use a bath thermometer. Does anyone know around what temperature to bathe her in? I am just wanting to be prepared and I know my stepdaughter will want to bathe her as well. I just dont want anything to happen to her. She is not even born yet and I am already going crazy. PLEASE HELP!!

All your questions just show how concerned you are about taking good care of your hedgie. It's all good stuff!

I've never used a bath thermometer, but I do test the water on my wrist to make sure it's not too hot. I usually use luke warm water, something around room temperature or just above. I'm just guessing, but I would think that if the temperature is okay for an infant, it should be okay for a hedgie. But this is just a guess, applying some common sense.

It's obvious you want the best for your new hedgie, so no one will get tired of your questions. You can get some good tips on bathing, nail trimming, cage accessories, etc. by searching the forum using keywords too. There is so much information on the forum. When do you get your bundle of joy?

She is supposed to be born anyday now. There are pregnant females and hoping that there are a few girls. If not the lady Im getting her from has a litter now that has a beautiful algerian grey pinto girl. As long as I get a healthy baby girl, I will be happy
