Default How to get hedgie out of shoe

My hedgie Lily was running around in our living room earlier this evening. My parents have these two wooden clog-like shoes on the bottom shlef of cabinetry that reaches down all the way to the floor. Lily found the big shoe, climbed in, and has now curled up for a nap! We have been trying to get her out with a glove, treats, and my mom wanted to use tongs but I told her it would hurt Lily. Any suggestions on how to get her out?

I'd stick the shoe and Lily in her cage and she should come out as soon as it's dark.

I hope you have taken pictures? She must be so cute in the shoe.

Lily now owns the shoe. There is not resisting.

She's taken the shoe as her own. Hope you didn't like it too much

She came out of the shoe within the hour. She was sleeping but she came out and even left the kibble I put in the heel alone! When I make a photobucket account I will post the pics and video. (I'm gonna make her a new thread.)
