Default HELP!! without ac in florida

I came home today and our house was 84 degrees. We had a repairman out and he cannot do anything until tomorrow morning. In two hours, our house has risen 3 degrees. Willow's cage is now reading at 88.6. I have a ceramic tile I'm going to place in there. I was going to remove all fleece except her sleeping bag. Any other input would be greatly appreciated! (It's a wire top with solid bottom cage, btw)

Are fans giving you any improvement? Open windows? Keep fresh cool water in the cage, in not sure how much removing needing would help, unless your Hedgehog is a longer diver.

Fans are offering little improvement and it is currently storming outside and predicted to storm all night which will just add muggy hot by opening a window. She is a long diver and I usually have to dig for her. But if I shouldn't remove bedding, I won't...I am by no means an expert.

May sound obvious, I'm sorry if it is, are the fans going in the right direction?

Good question! We only have a ceiling fan in our bedroom. I have portable fans in Willow's room (angled near, not directly on her cage), hallway and living room.

Do you have a basement? Grew up without ac and spent a lot of time in the basement.

is there someone she can spend the night with? or until the AC is fixed?

I had a similar problem: our AC broke and I live in TX it was during the triple digit heat wave.

so I tore down Bernie's cage and put him in his carrier and we went to my mom's boss's duplex where she let us spend the night (she wasn't home)

if you have someone who'd be willing to let her stay with them I'd try that option

If I was close and had seen this earlier, I would let her come to my house for the night! The Florida heat is a killer right now, especially with the storms.
