Default Amount of Food To Give Her?

Hi! So I just got my first hedgehog last Saturday, (yay!) and I'm wondering how much to feed her? I read somewhere that you should give them just enough that there are a few pieces of food left over, but it seems like no matter how much I give her, she eats it all? Is this unhealthy for her? She is also only about 2 months old, if that helps. I'll post my food notes below~
6/27, 100 pieces offered, 93 eaten.
6/28, 100 pieces offered, 100 eaten.
6/29 100+10 pieces offered, 120 eaten.
6/30 120+10 pieces offered, 130 eaten.
7/1 130+10 pieces offered, 139 eaten.

Just wanting to make sure she doesn't get overweight or unhealthy. Thanks!

At her age, give her as much as she wants to eat and if she eats it all, I'd be refilling her bowl. She is a baby and will be eating a lot more right now as she is growing. She will have days where she needs to eat more than others as her body demands more calories to grow. So it will be very frustrating to count the kibble and try to find that perfect number right now. I hate counting kibble, kibble size varies greatly. I'd just give her a couple of tablespoons and then weigh before/after weights if you are concerned that shes eating or not.

Ok, thank you, I'll try giving her the couple tablespoons! And I agree, counting the food does get quite tedious! xD

I keep my hedgies bowls full if they always have food available as long as its on good quality they will only eat when they are hungry and will avoid binge eating once or twice a day still keep track by weighing what you give her but let her eat as much as she wants unless she is becoming overweight.

Baby hedgehogs will eat more than adults, and should be free fed to a point. What I mean is that it is ideal that you give fresh food and water daily. So as you can imagine, there can be a lot of waste if you toss out the left overs everyday if you fill the bowl up, you kind of just have to find a happy medium. It's much easier to start out with s large amount of food and adjust it down as you see fit. A great way to do this would be to weigh food at night when feeding and then again in the morning.
