Default Has anyone else seen this behavior?

After I clean Hazel's house she never wants to go under her hat or in her bag. She sniffs around goes in her bag and then goes to her litter box under her wheel and goes to sleep. I'm thinking that she doesn't smell herself anymore and doesn't know what to make of it, but I'm not sure. Anyone else's hedgie do this???????

Is the bedding fleece? If so this way be the case especially depending on the detergent being used.

Yes it is fleece and I haven't changed the detergent since the beginning. It is unscented detergent and I don't use fabric softener.

Usually, I never do a complete clean. I'll either switch out sleeping blanket or the fleece liner, but never both at the same time. Personally I just believe that with their prey instinct, it would be nice to always have their scent lingering somewhere. Though by now my boy is used to this being his home for 2 years now, it's just become a habit to switch out one at a time. Ex, if I clean fleece liner on Monday, I'd switch his sleeping blanket on Wednesday or Thursday and perhaps his liner might need changing again on Sunday etc etc.

Of course there could be outside factors that may change this, like mites. But for the most part, I always try to keep one thing old.
