Default Rescuing Henry

Well, now we have two. Henry's human had to move suddenly for financial reasons, and needed to rehome her pets as her entire life had to fit into a van very quickly. He is VERY well socialized, barely balled at all, never tried to bite despite my thorough examination, and seems to be a total sweetheart. The only issues seem to have been his environment.

He was in a tiny tote that barely fit an igloo and food/water dishes. He had no wheel, no heat setup, horrible food (three of the first four ingredients were a type of corn, the third was a by product meal) no toys, just some paper/carefresh looking bedding. He DESPERATELY needs a nail trim, but he has no rashes or visible parasites, his ears look fine, eyes and nose look clear.

I will keep him in 30 day quarantine in a portable dog kennel, then switch him to my second C&C setup. The quarantine kennel is almost twice the size of the tote he was in, even if it looks small in the picture. It's just cluttered, as all hedgie homes should be!

Presenting, the Rescue of Henry Quill, secret hedgehog mob boss.

I'm glad he doesn't have to live in those conditions. Good for you!
