Default Surprise hoglets and mum not happy....help!!

I got a hedgehog about 5 weeks ago! I came on Tuesday 2 weeks ago and she had four babies in with her - I had been told that it was a male. Anyway, I was told by the original breeder that I could change all of the bedding etc 10-12 days after the hoglets were born, I changed it this evening. Since changing it Dax won't settle at all and keeps bringing the hoglets out of the igloo and trying to climb the sides of her vivarium. What do I do??? If I removed them and feed them would they possibly survive? I need advice asap. I only found this website this evening and read what I should have done and I don't want the wee guys dying or getting hurt. Help please!!

I would like to add that you need to stop listening to the breeder, he couldn't even tell male from female and already gave you very bad and dangerous advise.

Thank you Nikki for helping.

First start your own thread so you can get answers faster.

Second, go to the surprise babies sticky and read it, it has tons of useful information.

Third, you can pm Nikki if she doesn't respond right away on the forum.

What questions do you have? (Start your own thread with them so we can help you)
